BLOG: Coming in 2013...it's gonna be manic!

Hey hey my lovely loyal readers!!!

I just realised I totally greeted y'all via my Tumblr page and not here!!! How silly of me :P

Anyway...

First thing's first...

I hope that 2013 has treated  you well this far and can I just say I'm sooooo excited for what this year brings for us all! For me, it's my (God willing) FINAL year in UNI!!! That's right after 24 weeks of gruelling lectures, tutorials and assessments (along with my final practicum) I finish FOUR YEARS of tertiary education and am at that point (again - since the HSC) where the next chapter of my life is about end and start all at once - and you've all been a part of it, so THANK YOU!

So 2013 is here and that means a few things...

1. strictlyLeisure turns THREE!!! Yes, it's hard to believe that I've been doing this for almost three years now! The year will be full of exciting things but I'm hoping to get a competition up and running for you guys when the 12th February comes to celebrate another year together.
2. MANIAC is available for y'all to read here: http://maniaccollab.blogspot.com.au - It's posted from end to the beginning, so you need to use the Blog Archive to navigate the progression of the piece - I mean you can start from the end towards the beginning, up to you really. But again, THANK YOU to all you participated!

Ok that's the starters done. Next the reviews for this year...

• MARCH: ED SHEERAN is in town and I have tickets to see the talented man live at the Sydney Entertainment Centre!!! I can't wait!!!
• OCTOBER: ONE DIRECTION are back down under taking their second album to the stage in their 8 month-world-tour, so that's exciting too!
• MOVIES:
• Anna Karenina
• Cloud Atlas
• Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters
• Great Expectations
• Warm Bodies
• PLUS Heaps more!!!

So it's shaping up to be a good year for shows and movies, I'm gonna have to "play it by ear" when it comes to the music side of things - if you have suggestions feel free to Tweet, Facebook message or submit them on my Tumblr page.

I hope you all saw Les Miserables, it was fantastic. I cried. If you haven't, you should. I'm also looking to see if I can scrape in The Impossible and Gangster Squad for fun before I start reviewing - but we'll see.
